Who we are
Petrel ("we", "us") is a pilot aptitude training platform operated from Singapore. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any airline, defence force, or assessment provider.
What the service is
Petrel provides cognitive aptitude training activities and preparation materials for airline cadet and defence force pilot selection processes. It is a preparation tool only. Reference to any airline, assessment format, or test provider is purely descriptive and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Account and access
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension is not permitted.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the platform, or if we reasonably believe your access poses a risk to other users or the service.
Purchases and refunds
Training packs are sold as one-time purchases via Stripe. All prices are shown in Singapore dollars unless stated otherwise.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds as a matter of course. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to a pack you have purchased, contact us at [email protected] and we will assess the situation and may issue a refund at our discretion.
Intellectual property
All content on Petrel — including training activities, assessment descriptions, preparation guides, and written materials — is owned by Petrel or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
No guarantee of outcomes
Petrel is a preparation tool. It does not guarantee that you will pass any aptitude assessment, progress to any stage of airline selection, or receive an offer of employment. Performance on Petrel activities is not a predictor of real-world assessment results. We make no representations about selection success rates.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Petrel is capped at the amount you paid to us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of opportunity or loss of data.
Changes to these terms
When we update these terms, we will update the version number and date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights or how we handle your data, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
